Energetic, self-motivated individual who is passionate about mental health issues
This position will take a lead role in the development, implementation, and management of the Community Navigator
component of the Ketchikan123 program, working in collaboration with the BH Program Coordinator (BHPC).
Ketchikan123 is our community resource directory, a compilation of health and wellness resources designed to support
community members. The next stage of the program is launching Community Navigators, volunteers that support
individuals in accessing resources. This program is the primary focus of this role, with 80% of time spent supporting it.
This role will also support the administrative and programmatic needs of key initiatives of the Behavioral Health
program and Task Force. This role performs higher level administrative tasks, assisting in coordinating and managing
community events, reporting and documentation of progress and data, communications, and other tasks as assigned.
This position is supportive in nature, and tasks will vary depending on need.
Behavioral Health Program Coordinator
Energetic, self-motivated individual who is passionate about mental health issues
The position is responsible for planning and implementing activities associated with the coalition, including general oversight for coalition activities and associated projects; grant development, submission, and management; and national reporting. This position offers a great opportunity to work toward positive change that will impact the policies and systems surrounding health in the community.
Drug Free Communities Coordinator
Passionate person dedicated to preventing substance use/misuse in teens and adults
This position works with the PIERS (prevention, education, intervention, recovery, support) task force to implement targeted strategies that will reduce and prevent substance use. Responsible for engaging sectors in prevention work, and identifying opportunities for collaboration. Oversight of all program activities, evaluation, grant reporting, and data collection.

Program Assistant - P/T or F/T

Behavioral Health Project Lead - P/T
The main player that takes the reigns of the community navigator project
This role takes the lead in the development, implementation, and management of the Community Navigator component of the Ketchikan 123 program, working in collaboration with the BH Program Coordinator. The position will also provide higher level administrative support to meet programmatic needs.
* Flexible schedule and hours (20-25 week)
Executive Assistant
This position reports to the Executive Director of the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition.
The Executive Assistant provides high level administrative, financial, human resource and logistical support to the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition. This role would work in partnership with the Executive Director to support the organization’s administrative needs by ensuring seamless workflows for all staff within the organization. The Executive Assistant must be a problem solver, detailed oriented, a quick learner that can work both independently and well with all staff, contractors, and partners within their role. Because the Executive Assistant also manages the reception main office area, the individual is considered the “face of the office”.
* Flexible schedule and hours (37.5 hour work week)
Reentry Program Assistant
This position reports to the Reentry Program Coordinator or Executive Director of the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition.
The Reentry Program Assistant supports the administrative needs and implementation of key initiatives of the Reentry Coalition Taskforce. The primary role would be to support the Reentry Program Coordinator. Additionally, as a member of the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition there are times that the position would support the other taskforces to include PIERS Drug Free Community Taskforce, Strengthening Cultural Unity, Behavioral Health Taskforce, Crisis Now, Building a Health Community, Island Recycles, Imagination Library, and general KWC programming. This role performs administrative tasks, assisting in coordinating and managing community events, reporting and documentation of progress and data, communications, and other tasks as assigned. This position is supportive in nature, and tasks will vary depending on programmatic and organizational need.

Drug Free Community Program Coordinator
The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about the prevention of substance use.
The Drug Free Communities Program Coordinator manages and implements a substance use prevention program in collaboration with the PIERS (Prevention, Intervention, Education, Recovery, Support) taskforce, which is a task force of the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition. This role reports to the Executive Director and is advised by members of the PIERS taskforce, Ketchikan Youth for Change (youth group), Ketchikan Wellness Coalition Governing Board, and the Executive Director.
