Behavioral Health

Decrease stigma associated with depression and mental illness

Our Mission

Who we are

We are a group of like-minded community members who are committed to a common goal: improving mental wellbeing and reducing suicide.

The group consists of mental health professionals, teachers, faith leaders, medical providers, business professionals, parents, first responders, and others.

What we do

We work together to implement initiatives and strategies that will positively impact the community and support our mission – including, but not limited to: Mental Health Awareness Month, Suicide Prevention Month, Digital Drug Summit, Peer Support Specialist Certification Training, and more.

We always welcome new members who are passionate about supporting the mental well-being of the Ketchikan community.

The Behavioral Health task force meeting is every 3rd Tuesday from 12p-1p (meeting locations vary). For more information, please contact [email protected]
